Just wanted to let you know about the terrible, awful, disappointing, and comical experience that myself and friends had at VG. I once was a fan and a regular at this spot, but now, perhaps with the new managment owners it has turned into my least favorite spot in town. Wait times are quite ridiculous, food quality is below medicore, service is nonexistant, what the heck has happened?????? Very sad, not sure what the future holds for VG.

I can understand Chris' point of view. He did seem to like the scallops and sweet potato fries, but since his visit was at a time allowing him to consume a legal beverage or four, he expected a decent selection. When I went to Vandalia, it was on lunch hour so I wasn't permitted to endulge.

I suppose the moral of the story is that Vandalia might be a better spot for lunch or those who are not beer officienados, than for those who desire a bar atmosphere and large selection of brews.
